Digital Engineering and Tech Debt (DE&TD) Team is looking for a technical expert in the electronic simulation industry. DE&TD is a Schneider transversal department focusing on R&D applications using in the company. The position can apply expertise to setup services on simulation tools, methods, processes, and data with Schneider R&D global wide users.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Application Management on electronic simulation tools, like Sigrity, CST and Ansys, especially on SI/PI, EMC areas. Including:
operational process standardization and optimization
user management
license management and contract management
new version upgrade and installation
change management and implementation
Issues fix and simulation result analysis, provide suggestions to improve the design quality
Business analysis and function analysis among different simulation tools. Define the corporate offers in Schneider and engage business R&D to follow.
The key resource to animate internal user community around simulation functions and keep it active.
Training and coach for business to grow up simulation knowledge of tools and design.
Communication and collaborate with software vendor (Cadence, Ansys, Dassault) in a regular basis for support, escalation and so on.
Participation in business design project to deliver simulation service. (not always)
Innovation with new ideas and new technology
Extension to mechanical, thermal, and fluid would be expected.
Qualifications:
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
5+ years’ working experience in SI/PI/EMC industry with Sigrity or Ansys HFSS/SIwave tools
In-depth knowledge of electromagnetics, PCB layout techniques
Experience in Ansys Icepak is a plus
Experience in Thermal and Fluid simulation is a plus
Experience in Mechanical simulation is a plus
Self-motivated, teamwork and good communication skills
Good verbal and written English skills
Problem solving and influencing skills with good serving attitude
Understand IT support processes, working knowledge of RCA
EDUCATION:
BS or MS in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or Computer Engineering or related equivalent
